I have been given a Gift Voucher, how do I use it?

To book a trial flight just call us on 07876052154 and we can schedule you for a day and time of your choosing. If the weather is not suitable on your flight day we can reschedule for a later date.

What will happen on my flight day?

When you arrive at C-More Flying School, you will be brought into our club house. Here you will meet your flying instructor who will provide you with a safety orientation before taking your flight. If you have brought any friends or family, they can watch from our club house while enjoying light refreshments.

Where can I go on my flight?

We can fly in any direction of your choosing. The length of your flight will affect how far away we can go, approx 1 mile per minute.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

You will be provided with all the equipment that you need to take your flight. No need to bring extra clothing as the plane is fully heated. You may want to bring a camera to take pictures. 

What qualifications does my instructor have?

All our instructors have been fully qualified by the CAA.

Are there any restrictions for taking a trial flight?

Yes, to take a trial flight you need to be in good health and mobile. If you have further questions please call.

Can my trial flight time be counted towards my pilots licence?

 Yes, if you decide that you would like to become a pilot,  Instruction hours may be logged towards a licence from 14 years of age, pilots may fly solo from 16 years of age and may hold a licence from 17 years of age. There is no maximum age for a pilot.

How long does it take to become a pilot?

Everyone is different, but the average person takes 30- 40 hours. If you are interested in becoming a pilot, contact us for our discounted rates.

Once i have passed my General skills test how do i keep my licence current?​

The licence is kept current by flying a minimum of 12 hours over two years which must include 12 take-offs and 12 landings plus a 1 hour flight with an approved instructor.  You also need to have a valid medical and have your licence endorsed by an examiner to confirm your flights
